Friday Favourites: Fictional Couples

This is too hard. I love all the love in most of my books so everyone is my favourite while reading them. Top 5 maybe?

In no particular order:

1. Hanna (Highness) and Nik in Gemina

I LOVE Nik and I found this relationship development to be equal parts funny and sad which is my kind of relationship development. 😀 I don’t know why I’m like this!

2. Rhys and Alucard in A Gathering of Shadows and A Conjuring of Light

I adore Rhys and even though at the beginning I was very upset with Alucard for ever hurting Rhys I ended up loving them both and the sexual tension was just delicious!

3. Nesta and Cassian (technically not a couple, yet) in A Court of Thorns and Roses series

Nesta. I feel that’s all I should need to say but I’ll also add that Cassian is a doll and I just adore these two. Now I wouldn’t actually be opposed to a Nesta and Morrigan pairing. I do lean towards Cassian more because of how he is around her but now that I think about it Nesta may be better suited to Morrigan. Hmmmm… I must ponder this. (FYI: I haven’t read A Court of Frost and Starlight yet so things might have developed and I’m not aware of it. Please don’t tell me!! :D)

4. Elena and Raphael in The Guild Hunter series

I would hate a real life Raphael. What I always have to remind myself when rereading these is that he is nowhere close to human and hasn’t had many human relationships so his logic is sometimes very much ‘what the f**k?’ inducing but I do think these two are a total power couple and they both kick ass so I love them.

5. Kendras and Graukar in Lying with Scorpions and A Taste for Poison

These two are my favourites. I found their relationship development to be so romantic even though one is tortured and maimed by the others former lover but let’s not focus too much on that.

A common theme with the above is that none of them are straight forward relationships but then if they were that would be boring and who would care?
