Just a quick post to share my 2018 top 10.
There is no particular order to this list as narrowing it down to just 10 was difficult enough and there are different genres in there so it’s basically impossible trying to list them by ratings.
Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
Vicious by V.E. Schwab
Lifel1ke by Jay Kristoff
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
Nevernight by Jay Kristoff
American Gods by Neil Gaiman
The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
So I guess the most telling thing about this list is that it’s mostly fantasy. Not surprising given it’s my genre of choice but I do hope to broaden my reading range in 2019.
I’d also like to read a little more diverse in 2019.
I did kind of cheat and add a reread to this list. Good Omens is one of my all time favourites and I told myself that I couldn’t add any rereads but Terry Pratchett is one of my all time favourite authors and it made my heart so happy adding him to my 2018 top 10 so it’s kind of a #sorrynotsorry scenario.
